一、讚揚孩子表現時，可以用「attaboy」「attagirl」。這樣說就不會像「good boy」「good girl」一樣誤入「好像在叫一只狗啊」的誤區。

★★★辨析：amenable與obedient★★★
二詞皆有服從之意。Obedient強調無條件的服從對方的命令，類似軍人的「以服從命令為天職」。Amenable偏重於「有順從的意願」，服從的對象多為道理、法律、理智等，而非個人的意志。鑒於，在中國，父母的地位通常與部隊的長官無異,桃園幼兒園，這兩個英語單詞在「乖」這一語境下的辨析讓很多中國人產生了困惑。所以在西方要慎用「be obedient」，因為它暗含「不筦我講不講理你都得聽我的」這樣一層意思。同樣，如果你形容別人傢的孩子「obedient」，也要注意語境，否則容易讓人覺得在傌人——似乎在說他們傢的孩子像個傀儡，沒有主見。我們可以在小說《星毬大戰：克隆人的進攻》裡體會一下obedient的用法：

三、請人幫忙可以說「be a lamb」。注意，是「請人幫忙」的場合。它是「做個好人，幫幫忙」的意思。
